When I first got into kayak fishing I searched for the best way to carry all of my tackle and necessities. Seems to be the good ole’ milk crate was the way to go. But then I see some of these fancy new crates made by a company called YakAttack called the BlackPak. I had to check this equipment out further.
While I say I am apprehensive about an MSRP $124 fishing crate to take place of a $5 milk crate I hope it lives up to my expectations. Stay tuned as I review the crate in the upcoming few days.
I just finished the assemble of the BlackPak. I have to admit, it is much more durable than I had expected. It is huge too. Overall assembly time took about 30 minutes. It seems to be a perfect fit in the Old Town Predator 13 too.
One negative so far though. It seams that YakAttack shorted me 2 screws to hold the 3rd rod holder in.
